Thank you for being the kind of person who cares about your soul. And thank you for reading along!
For the past two and a half years, I’ve shown up in your inbox at the start of each month with a scripture, an insight, and of course—a prayer practice. This summer, I’m taking an intentional sabbatical, but I’m leaving you with a few reflective questions to accompany your journey.
Here is a short video introduction:
Prayer Practice: Returning to Questions
Enter this prayer practice in a way that feels right to you. Settle into a comfortable position. Take a few deep breaths. Turn your mind toward the Lord and invite the Holy Spirit to guide you in this time of prayerful reflection.
Read Colossians 2:6–7:
“Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, overflowing with gratitude.”Prayerfully reflect on the pace you’re currently walking, and consider these questions during your time with God:
What pace are you living life at right now?
What pace do you sense your God-centered soul needs?
What has been a high point in your journey with God over the last month?
What has been a low point in your journey with God over the last month?
Close this time with a moment of confession, resolution, intention, or a prayer of gratitude—whatever rises in your spirit to carry you into the next month.
Thank you for joining me again this month. I’ll send out these reflection questions again at the beginning of July and August. I look forward to returning with fresh content in September 2025.
I’m also excited to launch a Contemplative Spirituality Cohort next fall, along with one-day gatherings on topics of interest. Stay tuned for details—and feel free to share this with anyone you think might be blessed by it.
Warmly,
Megan Wright
